Northeast Alabama Biking & Trail Survey - 2014

The City of Anniston, Alabama has contracted with the Center for Economic Development at Jacksonville State University to prepare an Economic and Usage Analysis for the following:

  • Enhancement and expansion of Coldwater Mountain Bike Trail (currently 25 miles with an estimated 10-12 additional miles anticipated to be completed by the end of 2014;
  • Expansion of the Chief Ladiga Trail (currently a 33 mile rail trail which connects to the Silver Comet Trail in Georgia);
  • Potential of a 4-day “Stage Race” to include time trials, road racing; Criterium, and a circuit race.

This survey focuses on mountain and other types of related biking activities in the Anniston / Oxford area of northeast Alabama. These types of surveys are also important in gathering data to support future funding. In that regard, the Center is requesting that you complete the following questionnaire. ALL RESPONSES ARE ANONYMOUS AND CONFIDENTIAL! The surveying system WILL NOT capture any information from survey respondents’ computers. It will only record your responses.

The survey consists of a maximum of 17 questions and takes approximately 7 minutes or less to complete.
